I write scripts and draw a lot. Sometimes I draw butts and make puns about them. Maybe it's because both are outlets for the same creative energy that itches to tell a story and connect with an audience. Maybe it's because I'm ten.
Despite all the evidence, I'd like to believe the former. Connecting with an audience—relaying a story from mind to paper to mind—makes writing worth it, while the wordplay and myriad challenges make it fun.
It's why I've gravitated to copywriting. I get to write stories, spin turns of phrase, and challenge myself by adopting different voices and styles all while helping companies connect with their clients. It's a win-win!
